We usually combine the guided tour of Policoro with that of Metaponto or Taranto, for lovers of Magna Graecia! There is also a National Museum (of the Siritide) in Policoro, located inside the Herakleia Archaeological Park. 

The layout shows, the various phases of human presence in the area, from the Neolithic to the Romanization of the Greek colony of Herakleia.
